I remember last summer my preschool class and I found a baby bee; tiny, hungry, and so, so still. The bee was on a metal climber, hiding in a small hole. I taught the children how to feed the bee. We gathered water from natural sources, like puddles and flowers to bring the bee nectar. We knew the bee needed food and water because it wouldn’t fly. The bee immediately drank the water and fed on the nectar of the flower. We had to go inside for lunch and said goodbye to the bee. After lunch and nap time, we went back outside to check on the bee, it was gone. We knew it must have regained its strength and flew away! Be good, be kind, save the bees!
